PixelState Photography

In September 2026, I travelled through Western Canada, from Vancouver into the mountains of British Columbia and Alberta. It was a journey of early starts, changing weather and extraordinary landscapes — from the calm waters around Whistler and the wide-open country of the interior, to misty mornings in Revelstoke and the dramatic peaks and glacial lakes of the Canadian Rockies. These photographs capture some of the moments that stayed with me: first light, reflections, low cloud, wildlife and the sheer scale of the landscape. Rather than simply recording the places I visited, I wanted the images to convey what it felt like to be there.
